Our vision is to see students experience a transformational relationship with Jesus while digging deep in a life-changing, authentic Christian community. We partner with parents to pursue discipleship in the home, and intentionally develop students as they discover God's call to make a difference in His Kingdom. We believe in the power of presence. Students lives are dramatically influenced when caring adults come alongside them, sharing God's love with them. Because our students know that we believe in them, they begin to see that their lives have great worth, meaning and purpose.
Join us Sundays at 6:00pm in the Family Life Center for an evening of spirtual growth through teachings and worship.
Wednesdays at 7:00pm in the classroom across from the Hospitality Room/Coffee Shop
We are a community of young adults (18-30, married or single) who choose to live according to God\’s word. We embrace our identity in Christ as we grow in faith, meet new friends, and serve others. We focus on the needs of young adults with interactive discussion and time in God\’s word. In addition to our regular bi-weekly meeting we offer fun social events and service projects. Contact us for location.
If you watch the "Antiques Roadshow" on TV, you soon learn that the older something is the more valuable it becomes. Don't we love it? There is no exact age when a person becomes a "senior." Some say 55 or 60 and others, 62. We say if you visit our group and are blessed by your experience, you are welcome! We plan all of our activities with five very important directives in mind. Here’s what we’re about: Fellowship, Encouragement, Friendship, Compassion, and Outreach. You may be a mature adult or you may be a boomer turning 65 who’s admitting for the first time that you are over 50. So now that you’ve reached this milestone, what’s next? Welcome to Cornerstone where our desire is that you continue to grow in the likeness of Christ, participate in His kingdom building, and making a sufficient investment to the next generation. Join us for the journey.
Music is a vital part of worshiping God. Scriptures teach us to "sing a new song to the Lord." Praise and worship are lifted to God through music. We glorify God through our music, and it is for this reason we have a music ministry at Monroe Church Of God. The music ministry is one of many ways the church reaches out to meet the needs of the people. Our music is centered on Jesus Christ. Everything we do through music is for His honor and glory. The music in our worship services is designed to encourage all generations of people to be involved in worshiping God, and a way to unite the heart of man with the holiness of God.
